From Collector to Storyteller – I stopped collecting because I ran out of space, but ... I am collecting the gear I need to document my collection now!
I stopped collecting carpets and textiles because I ran out of space — but the stories these treasures hold still inspire me. Now, I collect the tools to document my collection: cameras, lenses, and the gear that allows me to bring these pieces to life through photography and film.
As a photographer and documentary filmmaker, my passion has evolved into capturing not just the intricate details of each textile, but the craftsmanship, culture, and history behind them. Through the lens, I aim to share the beauty and significance of these creations with a wider audience, preserving their stories for generations to come.
