What concerns me ...
Travelling has been at the heart of my life and work. It has taken me across continents, immersing me in diverse cultures and traditions. As a photographer and documentary filmmaker, I have sought to capture the stories of people, places, and craft. Each trip not only inspires my designs but also deepens my appreciation for the artisans whose hands bring beauty to life.
Through my work and collection, I aim to create connections—between people, traditions, and stories — and to celebrate the beauty that lies in the intersections of craft, culture, and creativity.

I am educated in the preprint fields. Since my first son was born I decided to be self employed.

At the age of 12 I got my first camera – a KODAK Instamatic
Webdesigner
1996 – now
My first project was "art department" a platform for artist and young talents from austria. Unfortunately I gave it up and it doesn´t exist anymore. Only on the wayback machine. art department.or.at
Filmmaker
1990 – now
I started quite early with Video8, Hi8 and DV and did experimental things for parties and documentation for my family. In 2018 I started an education in documentaries and produced my first film.
Travels – Asia
1984 – 1988 and 2024
Four times to India and a few times South East Asia – Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines – Australia and all the way back home. 2024 back in Asia. Sri Lanka.
Travels – Africa/Turkey
1988 – now
Morocco. I fell in love with the beautiful landscapes and went there quite a lot. After that or in-between I discovered turkey. Another beauty. As well as the people of turkey. My 40th birthday I celebrated with my friends in Istanbul. I went one time to Kenia – 1989 – beautiful Lamu was exciting and the safaris as well.
Culture
2005 – 2009
I founded the "Filmdays Austria:Turkey" in 2005 and did 3 times the festival and one Filmprojects about the first "Guestworkers" who came to austria from eastern anatolia.
Cinelounge
2011 – 2019
A filmproject in my local area. To watch movies which were shown on festivals but never made it into official cinemas. Different locations, different people, different origins and always a private social gathering.
