When
To be honest. I wasn´t there. I got this pieces from dealers here in austria. But that doesn't matter at all. I love them.
Why
Only made it to Kenia in 1989 once. We went to a safari and I actually didn´t find old pieces. Although I met the publisher of "Adore Africa" in Lamu. My mind was more on wild moroccan rugs at this time, not on textiles.
